The four-door Minagi, which carries more than a hint of the latest Hyundai iX35/Tuscon in its exterior styling, previews an entry-level Mazda SUV recently caught testing in Europe. It is set to carry the name CX-5 when it is unveiled at the Frankfurt auto show in September. It is unclear when it will go on sale.
The CX-5 will join three crossovers and SUVs in Mazda's U.S. lineup - the CX-7, CX-9 and Tribute.
